Vicky Pedrola – General Virtual Assistant

vicky-pedrola-family“When you work, work hard!” was a principle taught by my parents since we were young. We were always taught that we should work hard regardless of the circumstances we face in life.

When I was young, I always thought to myself that when I grow up and finish my degree I will work hard and help my family. As the 7th member in our family out of 8 siblings life was very hard for us. My mum and dad didn’t have enough resources to sustain our big family’s needs. But it was never a hindrance for my parents to send us to school. As a result all of us graduated in college and have a degree. I completed Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.

I started to earn money and as promised, I helped my family with the little money I earned in a BPO company. It is a joy to my heart seeing my parents happy with the little help that I gave them – it’s the best feeling ever!

I always aim for the best. I remembered my experience working in a BPO company, where in my first month, I received an award of “Rookie of the Month” for my excellence, and was awarded as the top 3 in our team. I always keep upper-most in my mind what my parents taught me – to work hard.

vicky-pedrola-bonding-with-daugtherI married December 2017, and I was blessed with my little daughter Jykea Paige on the 24th of October 2018. She serves as my inspiration to double my effort and work harder. I aim to be a blessing to my own family and even to my job/client. It is a principle that I will keep for the rest of my life.

I’ve been in the BPO industry for over 3 years. And right now, I am looking forward to becoming a virtual assistant so I can work from home. I have many experiences which molded me to become the person that I am right now. I believe in the word HAIL which means Honest, Authenticity, Integrity and Love as part of a person’s attributes. And I know I possess those attributes.

Thank you for reading my story… I trust that the abilities, capability and experiences I have are a solid match for Virtual Assistant work. I’m intrigued to see what the future has in store for us.
