Vanny Jane Robleado – Customer and Technical Support Expert, Business Manager

Good day! I am Vanny Jane Robleado, most of my friends call me Vanny. I am from the Philippines, married and have 2 wonderful kids who are both teenagers now. I took a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Marketing from the Philippines School of Business Administration. Sadly, I am an undergraduate and have missed submitting an On-the-Job Training Report, but I am planning to complete this so I can have my diploma soon.

Just to share, in the last year of my college, I had a small business at a mall. I was a bazaar participant and sold fashion items like earrings, watches, bags, pouches, shawls, make ups and different items that were trendy at that time. After a few months, I decided to close it as I was unable to manage my time as a student and entrepreneur.

My first job experience is with the Call Center Industry. I was an appointment setter. I do cold calling, offer our services and arrange to set an appointment with our sales agents for a demo. And that is where my journey with the industry started. I have been providing my expertise for different line businesses for offshore-based companies, such as Telstra, eBay, American Express, Google and a lot more. I have worked with several industries as well. I’ve been a Business Manager and Sales & Marketing Manager too. I just don’t manage people, I also manage the production and do forecasting to help the team improve and reach their goals. These various positions have helped me understand how important work ethics are. Being professional and always at your best should be a priority.

I learned about home-based jobs way back when I got married sometime in 2007. I have been hearing a lot of feedback that is why I got curious and did my research. I got excited and somehow worried about transitioning to a remote job. Then the pandemic came, and I was asked to work from home for more than a year, surprisingly, I enjoyed it. Working at home is liberating and being independent is a seamless opportunity for any one who works in this industry. And that is when I started to ask around about how it works and how I can start my career with a remote job.

I have submitted a resignation and prepared myself for a new endeavour. Setting a goal for myself and a dream come true for me. I bought a new laptop with needed accessories, upgraded my working area to make sure I’ll be as productive even working at home, and attended training to upskill myself. I am here to impart the experience and the skills that I have to you and your company, so that together, we can achieve its vision and mission.
