Vanessa Blancaflor Mahilum – CSR, Secretary and ESL Tutor

Hello, I am Vanessa B. Mahilum from Bacolod City, Philippines. You can call me Van. I am an undergraduate of Bachelor of Science and Information Technology.

I am the youngest in the family. I only have one sibling. I love to play with my children most of the time. I was not able to finish my studies because I gave birth at an early age. However, I didn’t regret that decision. As of now, I am still thinking of finishing my studies but I still have 2 children to feed and provide for their needs, especially their education. We all know that education is the key to a brighter future.

I am currently working as a Government Secretary and a part-time Online English Teacher for Chinese students. However, I came to a point where I want to spend more time with my kids instead of just working all the time. I was encouraged by my family to try looking for a home based job for me to spend more time with them.

I previously worked as a Customer Support Representative and a Chat support for one of the BPO companies in Bacolod. I have stayed with that company for 6 years. I handled accounts like Expedia.com and Priceline.com which I think are famous travel agencies, not just in the US but I think all over the world. What we do is book car rentals, flight and hotel reservations. During my stay with the company I received commendations and certificates of appreciation for a job well done. I guess I did an awesome job in customer service. I have tried different kinds of home based job offers but most of them are just for part-time and so I am looking for a full-time offer in which I can be secure.

I am the kind of person which is very eager to meet expectations and persistent to the extent that I can go the extra mile for the satisfaction of my clients. If I will be given an opportunity to have a job as a VA I would gladly offer all of my efforts to be successful in my job. I am also an quick learner and can multi-task.
