Rhea Sangrio – Social Media Management

Hello, my name is Rhea. My closest friends and relatives call me Iya. I am now happily married and we have two kids. I am the eldest among the four siblings. Being the eldest for me is challenging because I have to be a role model for them. I thank God because I think I’m am being a good sister to them.

When I was a child, my dream job is to have an office at home where I can earn without having to travel to and from work. I did not see any job like that before as I was raised in a province without internet. So what I did was to finished my studies.

I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing. After my graduation, my first job was as a Customer Service Representative. I enjoyed the job of being engaged in providing excellent customer service. It was for almost 3 years in service. As time went by, I realized that I needed a job that can give me a higher salary as I am a mom and I wanted to provide for my family’s needs and wants.

I quit the job and applied to a BPO company and luckily, I was hired as a Customer Service Representative. I enjoyed the job and the compensation is higher. I stayed in that kind of job for 2 years. I love the job but I also love my kids. Every time I come home from work, I no longer have time to play with my kids because I was tired already. I travel for 4 hours just to get to work.

I wanted to do remote work and be a freelancer but no one was accepting my application because I do not have experience. I quit the job in the BPO company and study all about freelancing. I am determined and committed to getting work from home so I had to do a lot of research and enrolled in freelancing courses.

I was a Customer Service Support for 5 years and switched to Social Media Manager because this is my passion. I know that I can use my expertise in digital marketing in helping my clients promote their business and be successful. I have a good attitude to work and good time management skills. I love learning especially in social media because I know that algorithms always change.
