Reno Rivas – Administrative Assistant

Hi, I’m Reno Eric Rivas. You can call me Eno. I am a single parent with one daughter. I studied Psychology. Unfortunately, I didn’t finish my last semester because I got my ex-girlfriend pregnant. Because of that I decided to go and apply for corporate work in the BPO Industry.

I was hesitant at first, as I’m not sure if I can be as competent as other applicants who have extensive experience in the field. Luckily, I met really good trainers and they helped me boost up my confidence. I was assigned to the back office support role with a renowned Australian bank. I worked there for 3years.

My main role was focused on account opening, handling paper/online forms, updating the CRM for personal requests, AML compliance, managing their time deposit accounts, creating trade accounts, transferring assets, and closing the accounts. The accounts I create are not only limited to individuals but also involves trust, trust atf, deceased, estate, company, company atf and some local gov’t entities in Australia. I am very familiar with KYC and Australian documentation. Throughout my career I managed to be one of the senior core processors jumping from different tasks to another, especially the urgent ones.

I am adept, highly trainable, keen to details, tech-savvy, pro-active and have a can-do attitude. I can work alone or with a team with minimal supervision. I’m very passionate when it comes to work. I want to be the one that can provide a positive outlook within my workspace. I make sure the salary provided is well spent. I’m heavily invested to grow more and upskill from my previous role to a virtual assistant position.

I really enjoyed the workload and the environment working with an Australian client. It offers you a work-life balanced setup. As I browsed and sent some applications, I’m happy to get a chance to work again with the environment I fell in love with. Also the benefit to work from home as it is really hard to travel these days.

I aim to be one of the core VA’s here on this platform. Providing a high calibre quality of work that ensures my growth. I am very eager to know more about this industry and make sure that I’ll have positive feedback from my future employer and clients. I’m really thankful to have the opportunity to share my experiences while working with a great company.
