Rea Volante – Sales Manager, Appointment Setter
Hi, my name is Rea Volante, and I’m from Legazpi, Philippines, famously known for its stunning, perfect cone-shaped Mayon Volcano. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with a major in Broadcasting. I’m happily married and blessed with three wonderful children who bring immense joy and fulfilment to my life every day.
I embarked on my professional journey in 2011 as a Customer Service Representative for Sprint, a leading internet service provider in the USA. This role provided me with a solid foundation in customer service and effective communication. By 2013, I transitioned to a cold caller position for a diabetic campaign, which later led me to a Training Manager role. During this period, I accumulated extensive experience in cold calling, sales, and team management, which significantly sharpened my skills and broadened my professional expertise.
Following this, I joined YRC Freight, the second-largest LTL (Less-than-Truckload) company in the USA. My responsibilities included reaching out to decision-makers, offering shipping solutions, and managing complex shipments. My dedication and performance were recognised, earning me awards for my exceptional reliability and contributions. This role allowed me to further refine my skills in client interaction and logistics management, solidifying my reputation as a top performer in the industry.
In 2020, I transitioned to the virtual assistant field, a move that has been both challenging and incredibly rewarding. The virtual assistant role demands a high level of independence and resourcefulness, as it often involves working without immediate backup. This shift has deepened my appreciation for self-reliance and proactive problem-solving. The ability to work remotely has also allowed me to better balance my professional responsibilities with my family life, which is something I value greatly.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of my personal life is spending quality time with my family. On my vacation hours, I love engaging in activities that bring us closer together, such as playing with our dogs and cooking meals. I find joy in experimenting with new recipes and preparing delicious dishes for my loved ones. These moments are not only relaxing but also essential in maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

My goal is to use these learnings to enhance my professional performance and contribute to my personal growth.
