Raul M. Vasquez – Graphic Design

Hello there! I am Raul M. Vasquez, but I prefer to be called Basti. I am a father of two beautiful girls and currently residing in the province of Bulacan together with my lovely wife. I am passionate about creating visually stunning designs that help brands grow.

I graduated with a degree in Fine Arts majoring in advertising, with more than ten years of experience designing memorable advertising campaigns as a Graphic Designer. I am also a fast learner and willing to acquire new knowledge and technologies that will improve both my work and my personal journey. I hold a BS in graphic design and possess expertise in Microsoft Office, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, and Premiere. I also have knowledge of WordPress and After Effects. I have experience as both a freelance and in-house graphic designer, and I have worked on a range of print, video editing, and digital design projects.

My most recent job was as a Graphic Designer with an offshore operations company related to Cryptocurrency located in Canada, where I designed all communication materials and advertising campaigns. I also learned how to create websites by watching tutorial videos and asking colleagues around. Unfortunately, the platform is not yet ready, which led to the closure of our business operations. Good thing that my cousin offered me a job. I worked as a production manager, where I developed my leadership skills by handling more than seventy people.

I enjoy exploring new concepts and thinking outside the box. I strive to approach things uniquely so that my work is recognisable to others. Additionally, I have organised three major events with the help of my wife and a few friends. These events were successful and personally fulfilling. It’s satisfying to think that someone like me could create a convention where I had the opportunity to meet a lot of people. If I were to choose a work-from-home job, it would be more fulfilling and less tiring for me. From my previous experience with a work-from-home setup, I found out that it made me more productive in both my work and personal life.
