Norman Cua – Real Estate
Hi, my name is Norman Cua, I studied BS Psychology at Riverside College Bacolod, and I have more than 10 years of work experience in different industries such as alcohol manufacturing company, real estate, life, and non-life insurance, route salesman, customer service representative, virtual assistant, and business.
I’m a father of 3 kids and never imagine working from home using a computer because I’m not tech-savvy. I love working in the fields because I love talking and meeting new people, making good relationships with customers, and at the same time having knowledge of the market that’s why most of my work experience is in sales/marketing. Being able to address customer concerns and provide solutions as soon as possible helps me further with my customer service and analytical skills.
Then along came an opportunity to work as a virtual assistant and work remotely. I know people are making money online as virtual assistants but I was hesitant at first because I don’t have an idea about the environment and I’m not a tech-savvy guy. I take a leap and was surprised that I was able to adapt to the new environment. It helps me build my confidence in my work and also further enhance my technology skill. I built my experience by creating drip campaign materials, website creation, building and filling out buyer leads by researching, compiling and managing, word processing, spreadsheets, making presentations, comparative market analysis, and lastly organizing data and creating daily reports. It was an awesome and enjoyable experience because I was able to learn new skills and I know that I can apply them in my career and life. Working as a virtual assistant can be a good opportunity to implement growth strategies for yourself and your clients.
Working from home has a lot of privileges over working in an office-based setup. Homebased jobs can let you save on commuting to the office and is less time-consuming and you can even spend time with your loved ones while working aside from providing for them. Loving your job and giving your best can lead you to be a successful person, the learning process never ends but determination, willingness, and accepting your mistakes can overcome everything and lead you to become a better person.
It is still a long way for me and I still has a lot to learn but I’m focused on my goal to enhance my skills and learn new things.
