Neliza Cristina Vales – Customer Support Representative
Rockchi.
Yes, that’s my nickname. I have been using this name since I started working in the BPO/Call Center industry 15 years ago.
I can still remember the first time I set foot to an interview – I didn’t really have any idea what I would be doing or how it would go. I ended up doing a mock call and selling a T-shirt to the Operations Manager who did the final interview.
I have an extensive background when it comes to doing Inbound, Outbound, Chat and Emails – from Technical Support, Sales, Billing, and Customer Care. I have worked with accounts that deal with Internet, TV and Phone Services, Telco, Parts and Electronics, Mobile Phones and Plans.
My background is mainly more on Supervisory and Training.
For Supervisory, I have been handling around 10-15 agents. Being a supervisor in the BPO means mentoring, coaching and motivating each agent to reach a common goal. Aside from this, I also have administrative work, I also attend meetings and calibrations.
For training, I have trained new hires for both Foundation Skills Training / English 101 and Products Specific Trainings. I also do training for tenured agents.
I also did a short stint for freelance work focusing more on data entry, data mining, data scraping and leads generation.
With the experience and background that I have, I can say that I am someone who is very organized, a multi-tasker and is willing to learn something new every day. I take all challenges as an opportunity for me to improve my skills. I love talking and exchanging ideas with other people. I believe that I can do work in a fast and efficient manner judging with the comments I received from my managers, colleagues and even previous clients that I have worked with.
Basically, the focus on my work right now can revolve around doing administrative work as I am proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office. I can also do data entry, data mining, and leads generation. I can do calls, chats and emails.
Generally, I’m a fast learner – I can go back to the first day that I applied for BPO work and didn’t even have any idea with products and processes.
Outside work, I’m really an introverted type of person. So most of the time, I just stay home and watch Korean and Chinese Dramas, play Mobile Legends or just listen to some great music while having my coffee.
