Michael Ryan T. Rebosura – Sustainability Specialist, Content Writer, Customer Support
Over the last 10 years, I’ve built my career on one simple principle: Work smarter. I’m the person who looks for inefficient procedures, finds ways to streamline them, and consistently strives to boost my productivity. It’s what has earned me several awards in the Production Department where I used to work.
Now, you might be wondering what a 13-year veteran of various industries with various job descriptions is doing applying for a Virtual Personal Assistant role. Had my CEO not encountered Personal Financial Crisis – I still would have worked for him. While I agree that the shift is a little strange, I know you’re looking for someone who has extensive exposure to advertising agencies, I know I have what it takes to be your Virtual Personal Assistant, and here are the things I could offer:
- Creating content for products that were listed to the company website
- Documentation of products bought by clients / customers
- Creating content for the company blog, doing Flyers and Blog Writing
Aside from these main tasks, I also provided support to our Customer Service team, especially when our clients or customers had issues about product functions or spare parts. I also helped in creating content for our Mailchimp campaigns, particularly proofreading. I also researched about future business ventures and supplier tracking.
In addition, I have years of experience working for other companies. In CFIF, I was the only person running the Environmental Management Unit, and I also served as the assistant to the Environmental Consultant. I mostly performed admin work such as answering phone calls, emails and other related tasks. My boss would ask me to do field research or search the web for topics regarding environmental matters. She would also ask me to do basic accounting on the liquidation of our office’s expenses. On top of that, I would assist her in the formulation of project proposals.
I also once worked as a Technical Illustrator in a US-owned BPO company where I mostly used ISOdraw drawing software and a little bit of Photoshop and Solidworks.
I believe I’m a good fit for the Virtual Personal Assistant role thanks to the more than 2 years of experience as Homebased Technical Customer Support, from being in charge of the products, websites, and my consistent support for marketing, I.T. and Customer Service I am confident I can create similar success as your new Virtual Personal Assistant.
I’d be thrilled to learn more about this job opening, and show you how I can help to deliver and contribute my share in the company’s bottom line.
Sincerely,
Michael Ryan T. Rebosura
P.S. I have finally realised that being a Virtual Personal Assistant isn’t about knowing what to do all the time but it is rather the job is to keep things moving and have everything your Boss needs to be fully efficient at their fast and busy level.
