Micel Tabora Balili – Sales Associate and Online Listing
Hi, I’m Micel Tabora Balili. I know I have a unique name and most of the name people have a hard time pronouncing my name, so that’s why you can call me by my nickname ‘Cel’ or ‘Mitch’ – either of the two will do. I’m from Angono, Rizal, Philippines. I will be turning 32 years old this October.
I took up Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) at ABE International College of Business and Accountancy, but unfortunately I didn’t finish my degree because I needed to give way for my other siblings. By the way I have 6 siblings and my father’s salary is only enough to cover our daily living expenses. That’s why by the age of 18 I decided to work. I tried different kinds of work and most of the positions were in the fast food industry, but I was not contented with my salary, so I decided to apply for work in the BPO Industry.
Pentagon 2 Worldwide Communications Inc. – this was the first BPO Company that I worked with back in 2011 on a B2B campaign. We called small businesses and offered them advertising. If they agreed with the services that we provided, we then processed their payment over the phone. This campaign was more about sales and customer service.
Teleconnect Process Solutions International Inc – my work here was similar to my first job. I stayed here for a couple of months and then the company closed.
Infinite Systems Contact Services – in this company I handled several accounts. I performed appointment setting wherein we called couples and asked them to attend a presentation. For this campaign we gathered our own leads through the internet. After that I got back into Sales where I offered online advertising.
Cashflow Outsourcing Services Inc – this was the last company that I worked with. This was a B2C campaign (Business to Consumer). We offered cash advances to all pensioners in the United States, and at the same time we collected/processed their payment. I stayed there for 2 years because when I found out that I was pregnant with my daughter I decided to give up my career due to my sensitive pregnancy.
After giving birth I decided to go back to work but this time I wanted to work at home because of my daughter. I want to be a hands on mum to her and at the same time give her everything that she needs. I can only do that if I am given the opportunity to work home-based.
I know I don’t have experience being a Virtual Assistant, but that doesn’t mean I’m not the right person for this position. I believe that I can use my experience in this job if ever you give me a chance to showcase my skills.
Thank you for reading my story and I’m hoping that we can do business together. Have a great day. 🙂
