Mary Bartido – Real Estate, Bookkeeping
I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accounting Technology at Father Saturnino Urios University and I was a Student Assistant in that same University for 2 years. I worked hard to survive college even though I was a working student. Accounting is my passion. Aside from working with numbers, it helps me also to improve my IQ because it can help me to think critically.
Being the eldest in the family, there is a lot of responsibility and I am the bread winner of my family. Our financial problem made me inspired to graduate college and do more side hustles. Two months after I graduated from college, I got my first job as an accounting assistant and accounting teacher of Senior and Junior high school for two years. I do Real Estate part time.
Other than that I experienced being a Technical Assistant. I do budgeting and monitor the finances of a company but still my salary is not enough to sustain my siblings. I did more side hustle like teaching at 51 talk as an Online English Tutor for a year. I also do photo and video editing to have extra money.
Being an English tutor inspired me to enter the virtual assistant world. I do freelancing in this virtual world my first freelance work is as a customer service in a US company I work 9 hours a day for 3 months, my 2nd freelance work is Data entry, Calendar and Email Management, Listing, and graphic designer in a UK company I work 4 hours a day for 3 months. This is a project based virtual setup and my contract ended after for 3 months.
I am proficient with Xero, Quickbooks, and Peach tree accounting software. I am also proficient in Microsoft office, Canva, Excel, Google sheet, Adobe Photoshop and Word press.
I gained many bookkeeping experiences such as the following:
