Ma. Katrina Victoria M. Fontanilla – CSR, ESL Tutor and Recruitment

My life’s greatest achievement is being a mother. My name is Katrina Fontanilla. I am 31 years old and I live in the Philippines.

Aside from being a mum of two, I discovered my passion for writing early this year when I felt really lost and down… it was when my wedding was cancelled. I started writing about how lucky I was to still be a mother even when I did not have a partner and how I will be able to get through this because I have my kids with me. Writing calms and relaxes me. I also own a small online business where I sell plates made of bamboo and cornstalk for kids.

Before deciding to work home-based, I’ve been working in the call center industry for 9 years. I did outbound, inbound calling, and appointment setting. I have worked for US and Australian accounts wherein we focused on Customer Satisfaction and Sales. During those times, I was lucky enough to be recognised for being a top performer.

My recent home based job required me to perform appointment setting for our US Clients and after 6 months, I was promoted to a supervisory position where I handled client complaints, requests, and cancellations as well as holding interviews with applicants here in the Philippines who wanted to be a part of our team.

Being a single mum, I can say that I am very determined to succeed. I am hardworking and passionate. I can work with minimal supervision, and I don’t stop until I get my job done correctly and on time.
