Lorenzo Gabriel Vergara – Real Estate Agent
Hi, good day. I’m Lorenzo Gabriel Vergara, but you can call me Renz for short.
33 years of age residing here in Davao City. Single. I’m a nursing graduate but didn’t pursue my career because I believe it is not my calling. I was part of a local real estate company for 5 years as an agent. It was good for a while but still there were seasons which we call dry season (no sales). I was never into a corporate job. I don’t really like to be on an 8-hr straight job. I just want to be on an appointment schedule and less requirements.
I also ventured on direct selling and buying musical instruments for 3 years, but when covid struck, it went all down the drain. People prioritise more on essential goods than my items. What I did was to sell all the instruments at 80% off in order to gain income. I tried to get back on track again on real estate, but I still couldn’t compensate for my family’s needs. My Mom just passed away in January of 2020. She was my greatest inspiration and also I have a son who was taken from me just after the burial of my mother. It was so devastating. I couldn’t sleep and lost focus and goals. I was hurting and grieving at the same time. Losing a loved one and not having a career brought me major struggles during this pandemic.
I’ve decided to try and venture into the freelance world. There‘s a big competition of course from this aspect but I’m not really bothered at all. If ever there’s a right employer who could see my potential and willing to train me that would be great.
I only do Basic Microsoft Office works but you can trust me more on audio recording and editing. I prefer more on a non-voice job which really fits me and I can really think well. I’m a musician also back then and still doing it until now. What I can offer to my future client is building rapport, trust and a thankful heart if you will absorb me.
I want to learn more as an aspiring virtual assistant. Right now, I can’t still decide what path I want to take, but I’m ready with a positive heart that I’ll be good at this. There were pass offers for me, but I turned them down because I wasn’t confident about what to do for the job. I’m trainable and happy to work with, and I’m hoping you too soon would be happy that I’m on your team.
All I can say, believe in yourself and God.
