Greetings! I’m Loren, and I’d love to share a glimpse into my journey as a freelancer.

With a degree in fine arts, specializing in advertising arts from a prestigious university, my education encompassed a vast array of disciplines. From crafting marketing strategies and analyzing consumer behavior to honing skills in creative writing, computer-aided design, photography, and illustration, I delved into every facet of the advertising world. I relished our college case studies, exploring the intricacies of design across various media platforms such as television, radio, print, and social media.

My professional journey began as a graphic designer in Makati back in 2009, where I lent my expertise to an advertising agency, tackling design projects and participating in shoots and meetings beyond the office walls. Later, I transitioned into roles as an account executive and project manager for an events company, serving clients in the dynamic entertainment industry.

Driven by a desire for freedom and global opportunities, I ventured into freelancing. The ability to connect with clients worldwide, including engaging in virtual meetings, has been a highlight of my freelancing experience.

In this realm, I’ve worn many hats – as a writer, coach, and social media manager. Each role allows me to channel my creativity fully. Whether crafting compelling content for a US-based company, mentoring aspiring virtual assistants across the Philippines, or effectively communicating brand messages to diverse audiences on social media, I thrive on the creative challenges presented by each project.

Returning to my provincial roots has been a transformative decision. Escaping the hustle and bustle of city life, I sought a healthier, more inspired existence. The serene pace of provincial living fosters clarity of mind, enabling me to focus wholeheartedly on my work. Exploring the tranquil surroundings of our chicken farm and meandering through nearby rice paddies imbues me with the beauty, peace, and inspiration needed to tackle each day’s tasks with renewed vigor.

In essence, my journey as a freelancer has been a rich tapestry of creativity, exploration, and personal growth, shaped by a profound appreciation for both artistry and the simplicity of rural life.
