Liza Satsatin – Recruitment
Hello! I am Liza Satsatin. My friends call me Tet; it’s a pet name I have had since childhood (long story lol!).
I gained my healthy work ethic and strong determination from my father while I get my compassion and thirst for learning from my mother.
I took up Communication Arts in college where I fully understood and appreciated the importance of communication, and got a wider understanding of how communication works in interpersonal relationships, organisations, groups, and cultures.
After college, I landed a job in a Recruitment Process Outsourcing company where I worked as a Recruitment Coordinator for 2 years. My main responsibility was to facilitate the completion of pre-employment requirements for our candidates. Also, professionalism and the ability to make others feel welcome were very essential since I spent my day communicating with candidates and hiring managers. The most important skill I developed as a recruiting coordinator was being a problem solver. There were a lot of urgent requests to handle and there will always be problems along the way, but it is always important to think logically and find the best solutions to fit the needs of each candidate and hiring manager. After 2 years of working as a Recruitment Coordinator, I was given the opportunity to be promoted as a Talent Assessor.
I’ve been in the Recruitment Process Industry for 6 years now. I am currently working as Deputy Team Lead where I ensure task completion and performance goals are met. I am also in charge of identifying and resolving operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment. I assist with the creation of process documents and work flows as necessary, and help facilitate onboarding and training new members of the team, which I really enjoy as I get the chance to train new members. I love learning new processes and I also enjoy helping others learn. It makes me so happy when I see someone learn, succeed, and just continue to grow.
When I’m not working, I love going out for morning walks with my dog, throwing dinner parties for friends or family, and I love spending time at the beach – it’s my happy place!
I would love to be your next VA in your organisation. With my determination, passion for learning, eye for detail, strong communication skills, adaptability, and respect for others – I believe that I will have a positive impact on your business.
Thank you for reading my story! 🙂
