Librado Torres Jr. – Customer Service Representative
My name Is Librado Torres Jr. My friends and family call me Lee I am happily married with 2 beautiful daughters,
I started my career working with McDonald’s as a service crew way back in March 2007. I decided to pursue my college education in 2011 while working part time at McDonald’s. In 2012, I applied at a BPO company and got hired.
I started as an agent for a telecoms company based in the US. I handled technical issues from irate customers daily which was challenging at first but later on, I got the hang of it or just got good at my call handling skills. I was asking for ideas and tips on how to handle irate customers from tenured agents and supervisors every time I got a coaching session. I would absorb all criticism about my performance and come back stronger each day.
I have worked in different BPO campaigns such as customer service, healthcare accounts which you will receive calls from health care providers, telesales b2b outbound campaigns in the UK also as a workforce specialist for a seasonal campaign called 1800-flowers. After working in BPO companies I decided to work at home I got a client from the UK which is one of the biggest utility brokers, I was a TPI data provider in which I handled a team of local lead researchers, our daily task is to provide 400-500 contact information of new businesses in the UK I worked with them for 3 years then the campaign stopped due to the pandemic.
In the middle of the pandemic, I was working with a client from the UK which is an Eco3 installer and my job was to call homeowners and convince them to upgrade their aging heating system and insulation and the campaign stopped last August this year.
Now I am currently looking for a client to work with and with my set of skills I believe this will be an edge in working at an outsourcing company.
