Leilani Visaya – Administrative Assistant
Hi, my name is Leilani, but you can call me Leila. I am currently living in the Philippines together with my parents. I am the youngest of four siblings. Being the youngest comes with many advantages and disadvantages. Learning from your older sibling’s success is the most rewarding advantage I have gained.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I love playing the guitar and listening to motivational podcasts. I also enjoy cooking and eating in my spare time. I often watch cooking shows for me to learn new cooking techniques.
After I graduated, I landed a job in the BPO industry. I learned email management, online support, and answering calls. I used to live and work in BGC Taguig. I experienced being Tech support, Sales, Customer service, and a General Virtual assistant.
Last 2021, I transitioned from an office to a work from home setting. It’s interesting because you can work in the comforts of your home while earning money. I have been working for 1 year and 6 months as a VA for our international clients. For me, shifting to the freelance world is quite challenging but fulfilling. I approve BOND and RENT loans in an Australian-based company. I communicate with customers and real estate agents. Perform verification checks and ensure all requirements are complete. Follow up with our customers if necessary. Respond to customer inquiries in a timely through email and live chats. I also prepare invoices and assist my client in any ad-hoc-related tasks. I worked alone with minimal supervision. It is different from the office-based job that has many supports. Unfortunately, due to the current business position and external condition contract together. My Previous client told me they can give a recommendation letter if must. Now, I am looking for a long-term opportunity that allows me to take on more responsibility in the future.
Aside from that, I built a thriving Facebook Community of 1,000 followers in less than a month. That means something, right? I like connecting to people. And through connecting I can lead them in the right direction. I have a good attitude and a good work ethic. But you don’t have to believe me when I say that I’d say you can ask My previous managers.
My goal is to bring positive results for our clients and make sure I go above and beyond in every scenario.
