Kristine Pascual – General Virtual Assistant, Psychology

Hello! My name is Kristine Pascual, and I’m excited to share a bit about my journey with you. I recently graduated from the Adventist University of the Philippines with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, where I had the honour of finishing Cum Laude. This achievement was not just a reflection of my academic efforts but also a testament to the passion I have for understanding people and their behaviours. 

Throughout my college years, I embraced every opportunity to learn outside the classroom. I participated in various internships across different fields, including education, industrial organisational settings, and mental health institutions. Each experience offered me unique insights and helped me develop a well-rounded skill set that I believe can contribute significantly to any business. 

One of my most impactful internships was at the National Center for Mental Health, where I worked in the Outpatient Adult Department. There, I had the chance to administer and score psychological tests and observe clinical interviews. It was a challenging but rewarding experience that deepened my understanding of mental health issues and the importance of compassionate care. It taught me how vital effective communication and empathy are in building trust with clients, skills that are essential in any role, especially in a virtual assistant capacity. 

I also enjoyed my time at Phoenix Maritime Corporation, where I was involved in various administrative tasks, from organising documents to assisting in trainee registration. This role sharpened my organisational and data management skills, which are crucial in a fast-paced environment. I found joy in the small victories, like streamlining processes and ensuring everything was in order, knowing that these contributions could help the team operate more efficiently. 

As I transition into the professional world, I’m eager to apply my skills in a dynamic environment where I can continue to learn and grow. I value authenticity and collaboration and believe that my background in psychology equips me to understand the diverse needs of clients and colleagues. I am ready to bring my enthusiasm and dedication to your team.
