Katrina A. Nuñal – Administrative Officer

katrina-nunal-profileI am Katrina Nuñal from Marikina City, Philippines. Friends and colleagues call me Kat probably because they find it too formal to call me by my first name.

I graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce Major in Business Administration from the University of Santo Tomas, the Catholic University of the Philippines.

Immediately after graduation, I worked as a Customer Service Representative where I spent almost 9 years of my professional career for a reputable BPO company. I was able to work for two clients; the first one as an Inbound Fraud Analyst for a US-based bank and the second one was for an IT-Networking Company that caters to the Asia Pacific region. I could say that my 9-year stint has given me mastery over administrative skills ranging from customer service, customer support, data management, data entry, data mining, communications, email management and a lot more.

At present, I work as an Administrative Officer working under the Review and Policy Development Division of our office. My work function includes development of plans and policies, prepare staff comments, write position papers and create studies katrina-nunal-formalthat are related to financial management. Some of my adhoc tasks include speech-writing and hosting official events for the division. While working as an Admin Officer, I also took up my graduate studies and finished my Masters in Business Administration in 2017 at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Marikina (PLMar).

I had heard of Freelancing jobs a couple of years ago and it was only recently that I was able to re-discover the wonders of working within the comforts of your home. I have decided to finally give it a try. While I am still in the quest of building my portfolio and reputation as an online freelancer, I took the initiative to equip myself more by signing up for online courses that will enhance my skills that would qualify me to become a more competent and versatile Virtual Assistant. With that, I am very excited to learn new skills such as basic Photoshop, Web Design, Freelancing and Video Editing.

During times that I do not do office-related jobs, I make sure to have quality time with my husband, my twelve-year old son and my four cute toy poodle dogs.

I consider myself an aspiring Virtual Assistant with a solid Customer Service and Data Management background. I am more than ready to take on responsibilities to assist you in giving only the best service for your clients.
