Kathleen Bedaño – Digital Marketing, Technical Staff

Hello! My name is Kathleen Faith R. Bedaño and you can call me Kath for short. I’m a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Mindanao and during my college days, I have the experience of training myself to use social media as a means to promote and trade or sell my used items or things online. I mainly use Canva to edit my advertisements and post them on Facebook. I have 4 years of experience working as one of the Geotechnical Engineering staff in C.H Beatisula Engineering Consultancy.

I love my job – even though the pay is really not that much and was really stressful. I know there is no job that is not challenging. When the pandemic started, my former company shifted to skeletal workforce because of the restrictions and protocols of our government. This affected my daily income and caused me to decide to shift careers just to sustain my daily needs and my growing bills. During these times, I was really torn between pursuing my career in Engineering or adjusting to these trying times by shifting to another job that I’m not familiar with. Thankfully, I have many friends who are working as virtual assistants. I decided to adjust and jump to a growing career that will enable me to learn and grow more than my current career in Engineering.

I trained for a month in Digital Marketing and I’m currently working now as a Digital Marketing VA. I am experienced in using Canva for graphic design, Clickfunnels for making landing pages, Infusionsoft for CRM or Email automation, Calendly, Acuity and Scheduleonce for appointment setting, Learndash for setting up modules or course creation projects.

I believe my past professional experiences with the corporate and engineering world is aligned with the responsibilities of being a Virtual Assistant. I make sure that my work is always done right and the skills and experience that I have gained throughout the years is what I can offer to your organisation.
