Justinn Rhey Ebanos – Customer Service Representative

justinn-ebanos-vaHi, I am Justinn Rhey Ebanos; you can call me Jus. I’m an undergraduate of Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation at the John B. Lacson College Foundation in the Philippines. Ever since I was a child, I’ve been the type of person who is very introverted. I rarely talk to others unless they initiate the conversation. And I realise in my junior high school years that I need to change. Realising that if I’m still an introvert when I work in the future, that will be the biggest problem because most of the work is about talking to others. So what I did was I joined different programs like CAT, Citizen Army Training, and Red Cross. After a year of training, I became one of the officers, a medical officer. It’s kind of a low rank compared to other positions, but still, I’m one of the officers. By joining CAT, I gained a lot of confidence to the point where I can command cadets and speak loud enough in front of many students. Because of that confidence that I gained in my high school years, I landed a job at Teleperformance as a Customer Service Representative for 2 years in healthcare account and in sales. While working as a Customer Service representative, I gained a lot of new skills and improved my previous skill set.

By being empathetic, I can relate and help a lot of members. So right now I am actively finding remote jobs so that I don’t need to go out of the house because I have a grandma who is 85 years old. It is really risky to leave her alone while I am working on site, so I prefer to work remotely. I know that working remotely is totally different from working at home because there is no one that will guide on the spot, but I believe that I can manage it and do my job properly.

justinn-ebanos-vaI am adaptable to changes, especially if they are challenging; it makes me work harder. With my previous skill set and my willingness to learn, I can be a great Virtual Assistant / Receptionist. I believe that success is mostly determined by having a positive attitude and mindset, putting in a lot of effort, and also taking full responsibility for the things that I do. Over my years as a Customer Service representative, I understand that there is no problem that cannot be solved when I am putting in a lot of effort, understanding the problem, and finding a solution. In order to develop myself and use those skills and knowledge in both my job and personal life, I hope to advance in my career.
