Junen Reya Reuyan – Bookkeeping, Customer Service
Hi, my name is Junen Reya Reuyan, but you can call me Junen. I am a wife and mother of 2. When I was 17, I got a chance to travel to Australia under my father’s visa and worked there as a factory worker. Unfortunately, I needed to go home due to some circumstances, and I never got a chance to travel around the country. I came back to the Philippines and continued my studies. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Customs Administration, and right after I graduated, I got my first job as a customer service representative for a logistics company. It taught me how to deal with clients and helped shape me to be keen on details, organized, and punctual. Since I got pregnant, I decided to stay at home and take care of my kids.
Then an opportunity to work remotely came along. It was not an easy decision since it was a new environment full of unknown factors, but I took the leap and chose to work from home. I started working as an email/chat support for a social media page that promoted a beauty drink product, making sure to provide prompt answers to customers. Afterward, I chose to focus on becoming a bookkeeping specialist. I was so eager to learn and improve my knowledge and skills that I enrolled in a paid bookkeeping course to provide the best service I could offer. I became a certified Quickbooks Online Advisor and Xero Certified Advisor. Through vigorous training and constant practice with actual cases, I am confident that I can deliver the value that clients are aiming to receive. I can set up accounts in accounting software, perform book clean-up and tune-up, record data transactions, perform bank reconciliation, and do data migration.
I love traveling and visiting places. When I want to relax, I play mobile games, watch anime, and watch movies. Sometimes we go out with my family scrolling around in the park and watching the sunset together on the beach.
I am looking forward to being successful in my career and being able to help people to reach their goals.
My goal is I could provide to my family with a comfortable life. I know I fail my father because I got pregnant and did not fulfill our goal to come back to Australia but I tried my best to fill those gaps and win his trust again.
I am always ready for new opportunities to demonstrate my ability in creative ideas and techniques and to deliver my valuable talent to the industry.
