Jovey Brimbuela – Customer Service Representative

Hello! You can call me Beng. I am a 25 year old goal-oriented person. I like to keep the working environment light and positive. I enjoy tasks related to Customer Service, Google Suite (Excel, Word, Calendar, etc.), Administrative Works, Planning and Organizing, and even anything related to Multimedia Arts because I am a Theater graduate.

Since I was a kid, I had the desire to impress people with what I do. Being born into a family consisting of musicians and singers, I already had the experience of performing in front of many people at a young age. I always want my audience to enjoy my performance whenever they watch me sing. Seeing my audience happy with my performance makes me happy too.

I really enjoyed my college days as a Theater Major student. That time, I discovered that I can do many things aside from singing, I discovered that I can act and dance too! I also got the experience to be a Director for Musical and Straight plays. Being a Stage Manager was the most challenging back then because that role requires an excellent level of organization, planning, and managing skills but I enjoyed it too!

Because of my experiences when I was in college, I became more ready to adjust to any challenges that are given to me. After graduating, I got the opportunity to work with various roles such as Admin Support, Establishment Role Play Supervisor, and Customer Service Representative.

One of the things that I do outside work which is also my part-time is to perform at events and plan weddings! I and my college friends organised an events team that focuses on planning events and online dance classes. Early this year 2021 was our first successful wedding event that we organized. We faced so many challenges but we really enjoyed the process, plus working with my friends doesn’t really feel that I am working. We’re just doing what we love to do. 🙂

Throughout my experiences, I really developed my previous skills and learned new things. I did understand that active listening, empathy, being ready and resourceful are the characteristics that I need to be better in the line of work that I chose. I continuously desire to satisfy and exceed the expectations of my clients. I want to always give high-quality service to my customers because I believe that the result of my work will reflect who I am as a person and how I work as a professional.

I am excited to learn more and grow more as I continue to give my quality service to others. I want to build more trust and connections. I want to be someone that others can rely on and depend on.
