Jose-carlo-honorio-vaHello! I’m Jose Carlo B. Honorio, a proud resident of Cebu, one of the most beautiful and progressive islands in the Philippines. I’m a devoted husband and father of two wonderful children. I got married at the age of 23, and the birth of my first child, a daughter, marked a significant turning point in my life. Becoming a young father was a transformative experience, motivating me to work hard and build a career that would provide for my growing family.

I began my professional journey as a Sales Representative, where I honed my communication and sales skills, working as an outbound caller for two years. I then transitioned to the role of a Customer Service Representative, further improving my ability to interact with customers and solve problems efficiently. These early roles strengthened my English communication skills, which led me to a new chapter as an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher. I had the privilege of teaching both adults and children, mainly from Japan and Korea, helping them improve their language skills.

My first daughter was my driving force, pushing me to continually strive for success. I realised early on that I needed to find a fulfilling career, not only for myself but for my family’s future. I’ve always had a passion for computers, and as a teenager, I would spend hours assembling and disassembling my own PC, treating it more like a fun puzzle than a task. Along the way, I also learned how to reformat computers, another skill I’ve enjoyed mastering. This hands-on experience with technology remains one of my passions to this day.

Jose-carlo-honorio-vaIn addition to my love for computers, I also enjoy playing basketball, a sport I learned from my father, who would take me along to his games with his friends. These moments were not only formative for my skills in the game but also strengthened the bond between us.

Seeking new challenges, I ventured into entrepreneurship and started my own business. Unfortunately, the pandemic forced us to close after nearly two years. However, this setback led me to a new opportunity as a Virtual Assistant. I started as an E-commerce Specialist, managing customer communications and Shopify orders, and later transitioned to a Digital Operations Specialist.

Working from home allows me the flexibility to balance my career and family life, which is my top priority. I am eager to contribute to your business’s success and provide a stable future for my family, always committed to being a reliable, hardworking team member.
