Hi, my name is Jill.

My career started in 2003. My first job was a crew member at McDonald’s, which helped me pay my college tuition fees. I was in my third year when I fell pregnant and needed to drop out from college. I must say that my work as a front counter member helping customers through the ordering process has helped me develop as a person in managing stress, prioritising tasks, being a team player and most of all my customer service skills have improved. Constant customer interaction helped me grow a lot in the way I communicate with everyone in my life.

After 4 years of staying at home and taking care of my daughter, I decided to go back to work so I could provide for her financially. I was lucky to be hired by a Pharmaceutical company as a research assistant. I worked for their company when they started the study on improving access to effective and safe treatments for patients living with cardiovascular diseases and diabetes, until the research was completed, which lasted 4 years. With this job, I was able to develop the attitude of being adept at compiling data, accuracy, attention to detail, and reliability in task completion.

Since 2019, I have worked with 3 companies in the BPO community. I have worked as a Customer Service Representative providing assistance related to flight, hotel, car rental reservations and assisting with complaints, refunds and other matters related to their travel itinerary. I also worked as a Process Developer/Technical Support Associate supporting through phone, email and chat with computer systems including reinstalling, configuring, and updating software via remote assistance.

I spend my rest days baking, cooking, browsing through Social Media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. I also love watching movies on Netflix and inspirational talks on Youtube like Jay Shetty, Tony Robbins, and Sadhguru which has inspired me on how I should live my life with a purpose.

It is now time for me to grow my career and venture into working remotely and virtually, taking advantage of the opportunity of working in the comfort of my home. As they say, if the plan doesn’t work, change the plan but never the goal.
