Jerome Gallardo – General Virtual Assistant

Hello! I’m Jerome Gallardo, I graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering at Technological University of the Philippines, and took my licensure exam this February 2024, and through hard work, I’ve successfully gotten my license.

I started working as a Social Media Manager/ Digital Marketer for a cakes and pastries client successfully leveraging my Google Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Professional Certification while studying for my mechanical engineering licensure exam. Throughout this work, I’ve handled the management of my client’s page, handling digital marketing activities including creation of ad campaigns, increasing reach, increasing leads, and increasing conversion, social media marketing by organic and paid postings, and even handling inbound sales. Throughout this experience as a Social Media Manager/ Digital Marketer the greatest learning that I’ve learned is “to create an offer so good that the clients can not say NO!”

Fast forward, after my licensure examination, I’ve taken certification for Project Management, where I’ve learned and practiced Project Management skills including Agile (mainly focusing in Scrum Project Management) to effectively handle, plan, and execute a project in a timely timetable to Through this Project Management Certification, I’ve learned to effectively handle stakeholder communication, and effectively solve my client’s problems. At the same time, I’m also knowledgeable and skillful in Canva Designing, Editing Videos, and learn fast.

Throughout my learnings and experience, I prioritise to be contactable, clarify my tasks, and to do hard work especially if I don’t like it. I can see the big picture of things to think outside of the box, and I’m equipped with multitude set of skills to become a superb Virtual Assistant that is able to support to my client’s needs from a remote location to see the particular details, and the big picture to effectively handle problems and needs.

Hard work is one of my main attributes, to do hard work specially if I don’t like it. As Alex Hormozi have said, “It just takes of work…every time I dress it up or cut a corner, I get brutally reminded that work just needs doing, the work doesn’t care who you are, it just cares that it gets done.” and throughout my learnings, I’ve learned that the end is not the objective but the journey is.

“To be exceptional, you must be willing to be exceptional.” This is what I believe in, as I aim further to grow, learn, and contribute to society’s needs as the only marketing genius is the market itself.
