Jenny Loyola – Administrative Assistant, Psychometrician
Hello! Allow me to introduce myself. I’m Jenny Ann Gayle Loyola but my friends call me by “Gayle”. I’m 25 years old, born and raised by a loving parents in Philippines. I am very passionate about knowing people and understanding their behaviour. Because of that, I took up Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I finished my undergraduate studies in the year 2016 and I got my license as Psychometrician a year after I finished my Bachelor’s degree.
I am Psychometrician by profession but I am not practicing it. I was hired as a Human Resource Personnel right after I graduated from college. My duties and responsibilities in HR were to recruit employees, handle interviews, attend emails and issues from the clients regarding the employees, and process the salaries and health insurance benefits for the employees. However, I had to change my job because I was not ready for it, since I am still exploring myself after I finished my college.
Before I found the job that I am most passionate about, I became a Virtual Assistant first as an eBay and Amazon Lister. It was for a dropshipping business based in the UK. My tasks as a Lister were to scout good selling products by analysing the sold activity from other online sellers. I was also tasked to find good suppliers that deliver great quality products, list the items/products to the platform, process confirmed orders, and even answer some queries or issues from the customers regarding their orders. I have been a VA for 9 months and that was during my review for my licensure exam.
After my journey in Virtual Assistant Life, I have found my passion in teaching. I like to teach, to inspire, and educate people. I feel like I am growing as an individual whenever I teach and inspire students. Hence, I became a Part-time Senior High School Teacher and I handle the subject – Personal Development. I am also a Part-time College Instructor for General Psychology, Understanding the Self, and Introduction to Arts and Humanities.
But the Pandemic happened, so the schools had to cut down the employees… Currently, I am helping my family in running our small food business that was born in the middle of Pandemic. I am tasked to do the inventories, pay and handle the taxes and billings.
I am self-determined individual and I always find myself passionate with almost everything I do. I work with enthusiasm and whenever I feel bored or exhausted, I can always manage myself to make time and take a rest. I am very mindful about myself of what I should do, so that it will not affect my productivity and deliver a great quality of work.
