Jemcie Ann Angeles – Virtual Bookkeeper, Social Media Manager
I am Jemcie Ann E. Angeles from the City of Seven Lakes, San Pablo City, Laguna. I have two daughters. As a full-time mom, being a Virtual Assistant is a very big help not just financially but also I can still be a great mom.
I took a Bachelor of Science in Nursing for two years, until I stopped because the person that’s helping me gave up suddenly for no reason. Then I decided to go back to school and take a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Major in Banking and Finance. Sadly, I didn’t finish it because I got pregnant. Though I am always a Dean’s Lister. I sacrificed all of my dreams just to be a responsible mom and wife.
Until the Pandemic came, online classes were given, so I took the chance to finish my studies. And I think this was God’s plan because after a year or two I learned that my husband was cheating on us. So, I’ve decided to apply as a Virtual Assistant, for more than a year I’ve worked onsite, but I resigned because the fare is too expensive. I just continued to be an ESL teacher. But right now, because my kids are growing and my husband came back, so I am the breadwinner.
I take courses about Social Media Managing, Lead Generation, Email Marketing, Graphic Designing, Administrative Assistant and Virtual Bookkeeping. And right now I’m taking courses about Xero. I’ve realized the tasks that I’ve done as an on-site VA were as an Executive Assistant.
As a Virtual Assistant Online, I had like three clients. Two of those were Executive Assistants tasks and one was a Lead Generalist task. At that time, I don’t use any tools like ChatGPT or any other Lead Generation tools. One of my two clients of mine is an advertising agency, I use GA4 and GTM. I test every button on their website and keep an eye on how their websites are performing. In order to ensure that I don’t forget anything during the day, I also utilize Toggle to balance my schedule. I edit some content for the website using WordPress. Stripe is how I keep track of my clients’ payments. For the files, I utilize G-Suite. I create blogs and videos with Canva. I keep an eye on consumer reviews using Birdseye. For consumer emails and messaging, I use Meetup and MailChimp. And Survey Monkey for clients’ feedback.
I know that my life will be hard, especially that I am in a time of healing and as a ‘breadwinner’. But with these problems that I encountered, these are the things that pushed me to regain my strength and confidence, as I am an intelligent woman no one can destruct me but rather give me more strength for each and every problem that I face. My motto in life is, ‘Everything happens for a reason, those things that pushed you down were just given for you to improve yourself and be who you are’.
I hope that I could be part of your team. As a dedicated and responsible wife. I assure you that I will do my best to help my client as well as the team.
