Jazmin Singh – Customer Service Representative

jazmin-singh-vaHi! My name is Jazmin Singh, you can call me Jazz. I’m 27 years old. I live with my partner together with our lovely 3-year-old son in Dasmariñas City, Philippines. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology from the University of Makati.

Right after I graduated, I had to look for work to support myself. Little did I know that it would lead me to a new path as a BPO worker. I started as customer support for phones, emails, and chats. Eventually, I moved on to an administrative role, as a quality analyst, team leader, and quality team leader. Zendesk has been the main tool that I’ve used most, along with Maestro QA, Google Suite, and Slack.

In my last company, I worked directly with the client. As part of a small team, I had to create engagement programs and I became more proficient in Canva. I also learned how to handle comments through social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Since most of the companies I’ve been with were in e-commerce, I learned a lot of payment portals to manage orders and refunds like Paypal, Afterpay, Klarna, and Braintree.

I applied for a customer support role in another company about a month ago and I was confident that I would get the position but I didn’t. I felt disappointed and I felt less confident, especially in applying to other companies. Thinking about it, I thought that nothing would happen if I keep pondering on it. It won’t change no matter how deep I delve into it. I had to take a step back and realign my strategy in order to move forward with the right attitude.

jazmin-singh-vaI want to be a Virtual Assistant because I know that I can do more and learn more and together with my experience, I can say that I would bring great value. I always share ideas that might be vital to the client’s growth. I would describe myself as someone who is persistent and dependent on my tools and resources but also proactive with questions to ensure the quality of my output. I am motivated by the fact that I would be learning more with the tasks that will be given to me and having the opportunity to work remotely. I would say that I am very much eager to learn. I take pride in my honesty and the integrity of my work which is the most important thing to have when working with a client remotely.
