Janice G. Beciera – General Virtual Assistant

Hi there, my name is Janice G. Beciera. You can call me Jan/Janice or Nice, for short. I am an aspiring virtual assistant. I am happily married and I am a mother to my 6 months old son. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of Mindanao, Matina Campus.

I have been a Sales Admin for 6 years working onsite and in an office-based environment. As a Sales Admin, I am responsible with customer service, data entry, compiling sales report and monitoring machine reservations,  preparing machine quotations as per client request, handling CRM, answering phone calls and emails, conducting background check of clients bank accounts, providing clerical and  administrative support to sales and staff, updating and keeping track of customer records, organizing files and preparing machine deliveries, and other ad hoc tasks given from time to time. But before becoming a Sales Admin, I was a Market Research Interviewer for 6 months performing survey research for Survey Sampling International.

I am a detailed-oriented, hardworking individual, I love to gain knowledge and skills. I want to be trained with integrity. I think being a reliable, trustworthy and flexible individual is what makes me different from others. I can work in a fast paced environment, I am a multitasker and a team player.

After years of working in the corporate world, I found myself wanting for more; I want a new challenge and opportunity. I have set a new goal and want it to become a reality. I have followed different personalities and joined multiple groups to gain knowledge about Virtual Assistance and Freelancing sites. Explore different virtual assistant websites and submitting applications. I’ve  watched many videos, read many articles, and joined Facebook groups so that my network would become wider. Now I am ready for a change of career. I am ready to become more productive and efficient. Choosing this kind of career path is not as easy as everyone thought, but I know working at home will give me a new environment and aside from that I will be with my family and kids in their growing years.

My ultimate goal is to become the best version of myself through this kind of job I am choosing  to have soon!
