James Garcia – General Virtual Assistant

Hi, my name is James Garcia but I prefer to go by Jam when in the presence of friends and loved ones. My childhood was full of ambition and eagerness for success. My family was very supportive and loving. They always motivated me to achieve what seemed impossible. When I was a child, my hard work and dedication were noticed as I graduated from high school with the highest possible marks. After transitioning to college for a career in Nursing, life took an unexpected turn and financial constraints made me unable to continue with my studies. This moment was very difficult for me at that time but I remained focused. Instead of being defined by this obstruction, however, I opted to launch into employment opportunities that came my way.

My first employment in the BPO sector was very influential in my working life since it provided me with the foundation to build on. Subsequently, I got a good job and carried on putting into practice the communication skills and thereby gathering more knowledge. At times, I even surpassed the targets that were set implying not only my proficiency, but also passion for the job. It concerns personal initiative, professionalism as well as pursuing self-improvement and individual effort that is crucial in this industry and thus, I have passion for it. The reason why I am active is because I do lots of activities that keep me energetic hence can boast of high levels of alertness and lots of energy during work. My strengths are fast working and flexibility and these qualities make me to produce more than most people in the organisation. I attend to all inquiries on the first call while ensuring that I submit my reports on time, thus having an end-to-end process for each transaction. As a result, my positive disposition to work goes beyond the roles and responsibilities assigned to me, making me a possible candidate for a leadership role in the firm. Regarding the changes in the organisation, I am ready to contribute to them positively and perform my tasks effectively.

In addition to achieving professional goals, travel has added a lot more meaning into my life. For me, living life was about seising every opportunity to see new places and cultures. It is this life vigor that has helped me to grow personally and provided a fresh counterweight in my career.

Many went through quite the transformational moment during the COVID-19 pandemic, although remote work was still novel which I was quick to adapt with ease. There were various online tools and platforms to navigate which I saw as an opportunity for me to improve on my time management and delegation skills. While making me more flexible, this also created new avenues for my career. As I proceed along my career path and personal growth trajectory, I remain focused on growth and adaptability. With these experiences, I have acquired a set of skills as well as a tough mindset. To go deeper into the world of remote work while developing myself further and meeting any difficulties ahead is one of my dreams. So far, it has been evident that even confronting hurdles head-on can lead to better lives worth living through my own journey.

I aim to be professional expert who complements the achievements of the organization, and at the same time, learn from my work. As a result, I am ready to assume more responsibilities and be referred to as an expert of the field all of which shall be well documented in my CV.
