James Adrian C. Javellana – Customer Support and Sales Agent

G’day!

I’m James! I have been in the customer service industry for 12 years in a BPO set up, 10 of which I was a supervisor. I have sales, technical support, customer service, inbound sales, outbound sales, chat support, email support and phone support experience for over a decade now.

I have been working as an online phone, email and chat support with sales for 18 months for a company in Brisbane. I was designated with extra tasks for up-training and also extracting and creating reports for our weekly business review. I was also assigned during weekends to handle complaints and other customer service concerns when our customer service manager is having their day off. I have always hit my sales quota ever since I joined the company.

I am the sole bread winner of my family so failing is not an option for me. I am very innovative when it comes to my work. I like to get things done with the utmost sense of urgency since I hate procrastinating. I’m a result-oriented person so I always make sure that I deliver quality results and hit or even exceed my targets.

I wasn’t able to finish my studies. I had to quit school when my dad had cancer. I started working on another island in the Philippines (Cebu) since there were no call centers yet where I lived way back 2005. It was an experience that changed my life forever. I didn’t even know that I had it within me to satisfy customers’ needs without meeting them face to face. I didn’t even know that I could perform and be at the top of my game if I wanted to. I never knew I had that killer instinct in me when it comes to sales. Customer service was already a way of living for me and not just a job.

Survival has always played an integral part of my life story so I’m hoping to continue that story at home, working with 100% reliability and dedication to my client and satisfying their customers and bringing additional success to their company.

Fun Fact about me: Outside of work I am a musician. I have 3 bands. One of which I’m the guitarist, the other I’m a bassist and the 3rd one I’m the vocalist. I’m also the head of our music ministry at our church where I serve full time. 🙂
