Edwin Tabor – AutoCAD Operator, Draftsman

Hi! My name is Edwin Tabor. I was born in a small village from a remote Island in a province of Southern Leyte in the Philippines. My father is a fisherman and my mother is a market vendor. I am the eldest and only son. I have 3 sisters. Now, I am married and a father of 2 kids, but one of them is a special needs child (Autism) – the eldest. My wife is a housewife who sacrifices to take care of my children.

I am a simple person, friendly, hardworking, a loving husband and father to my kids, with a good sense of humor.
When I was young, I always dreamed that someday I could work and live in another country, especially in Australia. I hope one day this dream becomes a reality.

After High School and College, I went to Manila, the capital city in the Philippines to seek a job. Hence, I wanted to repay my loving parents for the sacrifices they made so I could finish my studies. After I got hired, I sent my first salary to my Mother. I supported my younger sisters in their studies from High School until College.

I am an Architectural Drafting Graduate. I have more experience as a Draftsman and AutoCAD Operator in various projects for local and abroad. I was working in Civil Construction and Telecommunication fields in the Philippines and later on, I decided to work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Oil and Gas pipeline projects.

With the years of experience in this role, I am confident that I have exercised the technical responsibilities in providing the professional Architectural and Engineering Drafting services to medium and large scale projects.

I have proven ability in the development of drafting and design management skills. Experience in computer-aided drafting software packages, Microsoft Office, and design presentation packages.

At present, I am unemployed and still seeking a job so that I can support my family, especially the needs of my children.

As a VA I can work where I can use my skills with my dedication as an AutoCAD Draftsman and provide a scope for learning and implementing new technologies that will enable me to enhance and utilise my inherent abilities and skills successfully.
