Criscelli Meneses – General Virtual Assistant
Hi, I am Ellie. I have worked as a Virtual Assistant for over 4 years.
I started my career as a Customer Service Representative for a BPO company. I wanted to work as a Customer Service Representative mainly because of two things: 1. Engaging with diverse individuals and 2. Providing assistance.
However, fueled by a desire for professional growth beyond the confines of a traditional customer service role, I transitioned into the role of a Virtual Assistant for a construction company. The intimate setting of a smaller organisation offered a distinct contrast to the bustling environment of a BPO. When the pandemic prompted a shift to remote work, I unexpectedly discovered the joys of working from home – the elimination of commutes and quality time with loved ones. Unfortunately, the business had to close due to pandemic-related financial challenges.
I found a new home in a not-for-profit organization in the electrical industry, as a l member of the marketing team. My responsibilities included organising events, hosting webinars, and nurturing positive relationships with industry members. The ability to work from home while pursuing a job I am passionate about is my primary motivator. I take pride in making people’s lives easier, relish the opportunity to continuously learn, and find fulfillment in contributing to the success of the company.
As a Virtual Assistant, my qualities lie in my ability to efficiently manage tasks, maintain clear communication, and adapt to diverse challenges. I possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Additionally, my commitment to continuous learning ensures that I stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends, allowing me to provide innovative solutions. Coupled with excellent time management and a client-focused mindset, I am dedicated to delivering high-quality and timely support, making me a reliable and effective virtual assistant.
I’ve always wanted to care for my health but never got the time, one of the good things that came out of the pandemic for me was that I realised health is truly wealth. So, I do YOGA or walking at least 3x a week. It improved my health; I get to sleep better, and it feels good to know I’m taking care of my body.
Aside from that, I also love to read books, books that I get to hold and smell not those e-books that you get to download. There’s nothing like holding a book and the scent of the pages can make the reading experience even more enjoyable.
On weekends, I love spending time with my family. It’s the only time we get to eat together and hang out since our schedule varies during weekdays. I look forward to these times and we try to always make it special. It’s these moments that create lasting memories and strengthen the bonds between family members.
