Christine Cenaroza – Accounting and Bookkeeping
I am a graduate of Business Administration major in Financial Management at Central Philippine University. I graduated with Latin honors. I have a passion for numbers, analysis, and creativity which is accounting and management.
I have a small family which includes my mother and my father. I have no siblings. We live in a rural area and have a simple life. My father used to work abroad. He is now 58 years old and my mother who is now 57 has comorbidity. I hope we will be complete soon because my father works away from us.
As an independent and only child, I was molded to handle problems and solve them on my own. The creativity in managing my life and overcoming the challenges and contributing to my family financially is my main goal since the income of my father is not enough to sustain our needs.
My first job after graduation was as an accounting staff bookkeeper specialising in the income/revenue of the organisation. The function is to verify the daily and monthly sales of the branches within the city, other towns, and other departments of the hospital industry. It is also to analyze and balance the monthly receipts books of all the branches.
I have also been a part of the credit and collections team for 3 years handling Australia and US Region. It is a challenging one as it has direct interactions with the customer and business to business departments, learning their culture and adapting it in resolving and providing service to their concerns/issues.
My hobbies are reading books especially in the categories of lifestyle, business, and finance. I also read fiction books, but I am more interested in reading educational books to educate myself and learn new things. I also like to write poems that can be turned into songs and essay writings. I do perform also as a singer and dancer to an interpretative in a theatre set-up. I listen to music almost every day. Some of my favorite songs that I always listen to are worship, party, chill, and love songs. I even had piano and guitar lessons in the past. I can’t live without music as it motivates me in every aspect of my life.
I also love to bake since I am into sweets but I’m not an expert on it. I am interested in cake decorating as it is also a form of self-expression. It’s amazing how the different colors, several designs, and recyclable materials can be turned into something magnificent. I currently have access to an art class here in our city, which includes mold and clay, acrylic paints, watercolors, and others. Recently, I practiced my knowledge in playing golf to enhance my skills and to be excellent in the field.
This year, I decided and enroll myself in a short course as a QuickBooks Proadvisor and Xero Certified Adviser to be a Freelance Certified Accountant. This renders services in the field of Finance and Accounting and helps businesses improve and make easy solutions in the digital world. I take this to work remotely as I can see a good potential in this industry.
I am a Quickbooks Proadvisor and Xero Certified Adviser.
I am proficient in the following:
- Book and bank reconciliation analysis
- Accounting
- Customer service
- Preparation of financial reports
The other platforms I am familiar with are Quickbooks, Xero, CRM, Slack, Oracle, Netsuite, and Excel.
I am diligent, trustworthy, work independently, and am a good team player. I believe I am a valuable asset to your company.
I hope to have a non-toxic work environment, an employer that gives you the freedom to work independently as well as trust and a team that builds good relationships with others. I am also looking forward to having a work-life balance in which I love the job that I am with in order to maximize things and learnings and to motivate and inspire others.
