Cherr Resuma-Alaba – CSR and Quality Assurance Specialist

Hi, my name is Cherr Alaba, 28 years of age. I am a mother of a 5 year old kid.

I was working in a BPO industry for 10 years as a Quality Assurance Specialist. I loved my job as it was my 1st job.

I learned to multitask when it comes to work. I am a hard working person who can work under pressure. My job as an Quality Specialist is to monitor calls of the agents and check if they are following the guidelines set by the client, and if there are opportunities, I provide feedback to the representative for them to improve their customer service skills.

I found it fulfilling when a representative improved from their opportunities – as they were able to fully assist the customer and provide resolution to their concerns.

However as times went by I began to struggle when it came to finances so I decided to become a small enterpreneur. I sell sweet desserts such as cakes, pastries and pastas online.

For the past 3 years I have been running my online business and I am proud to say that I have been able to buy a car and a house and lot – one of my dreams!

I am happy with what I have achieved and some people have even told me that they are inspired by what I have become – that through my hard work and determination I was able to achieve my dream…

So my motto in life is: If you work hard with determination and love your work, you will be able to achieve your goal in life. It’s very satisfying to see what you can do, and working hard really does pay off. Now I am choosing to pursue a career of working from home so I can spend more time with my kid.
