Bless Repaso – Administrative Assistant, Customer Service

Hello, I am Bless L.Repaso. I am 26 years old and a mother of a 2-year-old baby girl. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy at Riverside College Inc., Bacolod City. Since I graduated from college in 2019, I never got a chance to experience working in the corporate world where I need to travel from home to the office and work with different kinds of people.

I started my journey as a Virtual Assistant last 2018 with the help of my cousin who are working as a web developer and programmer at that time. He was the one who introduced me to the world of freelancing. He inspired and encouraged me to work as a freelance Virtual Assistant. I was finishing my studies back then and never had an interest in applying as a Virtual Assistant, but he was very persistent and the opportunity came and I was hired as a Social Media Manager with his help. I would have not thought that I will be enjoying working from home as a freelancer.

Because of this, I got the chance to study and work at the same time. He helped me manage my time and improve my skills in freelancing. Since then, I worked as a Freelance Virtual Assistant. I am in my 3rd year as a freelancer and I can say that I am enjoying every part of it.

I worked as a social media manager for a travel agency. I have learned so much as social media manager from creating content, posting content, scheduling, and chat support to bookings. I developed my skills in customer support. Then an opportunity came for me to work as a graphic designer for an Instagram influencer. I developed my skills in creating designs. I loved that I got to work in different niches.

Also, I got a chance to work as General Virtual Assistant where I managed emails and calendars, and do the scheduling, basic bookkeeping, basic research, data entry, and bookings.

Over the years of working as a Virtual Assistant, I developed my skills and knowledge through the help of my mentor and my clients, as well as developed my attitude toward working with clients from different countries. I aim to grow in my career so that I can give the best services to my clients by learning and enhancing my skills and knowledge.

Working from home might be different but I am adapting to this setup. I can provide for my family as well as have time for them.
