Beatrice Marie Hill – Virtual Assistant, Customer Success Manager
Hi there! My name is Beatrice Marie Hill, but you can call me Bea. I am a happy wife with 2 well-trained yet unpredictable Huskies. I graduated at De La Salle College of St. Benilde. I started working as a furniture sales designer, then later on as a design consultant for kitchens and modular cabinetry, and as well as a background in residential, commercial and hospitality design.
When the pandemic hit, life became a standstill for most people, including me. As preparing for normal office work became too stressful and time-consuming, especially when it comes to commuting, I found that there was a work-from-home setup and took the plunge there. I didn’t have any skills yet as a Virtual Assistant but with my initiative and ambition, I learned the skills on the job and continuously improved them.
My experience started as a chat support then after a few months, I became an executive assistant and promoted again as an account manager. My skills and experiences included non-voice chat support, email and calendar management, data entry, onboarding and training clients, task and project management, client and customer support, and as well background with Go High Level, Canva, Lead Prosper and ActiveCollab.
I am an independent worker and as well as work well with a team. My team mates can easily come to me if they have any questions or clarifications. I am diligent with my work and would always make sure I meet deadlines. I take initiative with tasks, resourceful, attention to detail and have good communication and organization skills.
I may have just a couple of years of experience as a Virtual Assistant but I am always willing to learn more skills that can help the clients or company and as well as learn different culture and work environments. I always do my best to be approachable and appreciative to my team members as I believe a company works best when everyone has a sense of togetherness. I am a reliable team member with a can do attitude as long as with correct direction and guidance.
Working at home was quite a big working culture shift but I have learned to adapt and manage my time well and as well as form of communication. The remote setup has also taught me the value of accountability, patience and confidence and it is always a learning curve. I hope to grow further in this career as I have found that it is a job that I actually do enjoy and value.
