Ariane Hope Marfe – Administrative Assistant, Human Resource
I am Ariane Hope Marfe, but my loved ones and close friends call me Yani. I am from the City of Davao where the President of the Philippines is from. I am the youngest in a brood of 3 siblings. I am an easygoing, dedicated, organized and goal-oriented type of person who can easily adapt to certain situations, who strives for perfection, who likes to get things into order and who can do the nitty gritty work of sorting out problems and solving conundrums.
Also, I am a person who loves adventures; I love to travel all around the globe to enjoy the sceneries, to take spectacular photographs for memories, and to try out various specialty food that the country or the state are known for.
I completed my post-secondary education from the University of Mindanao with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. I originally planned to be a lawyer, hence, I got a pre-law course in college. I was able to get into law school, however, I only spent 2 years due to personal reasons. As they say “many are called and few are chosen. While some of my batch mates were busy and thrilled about pursuing law in different law schools, I decided to try a different route.
Way back 2004, I started my career as a professional at Rabbit Advertising for 6 years as an Executive Assistant to the CEO. I handle and manage day-to-day office operation. I have a solid experience of 13 years working as recruitment professional. I believe my dedication in working under that department stems from the fact that I enjoyed talking to different individuals and hearing their own stories while helping them find a job they’ll thrive in.
However, last February of this year, I’ve decided to challenge myself and explore the other facets of Human Resource; I left my company where I spent 7 loyal years because I wanted to gain more experience, broaden my knowledge and learn new skills not just in recruitment but in general human resources. I was employed as a Human Resource Manager, basically handling all facets of the department. It is a crucial job but empowering at the same time, in a sense that I was given a privilege to help and give service to people. I got to really challenge myself, but I also got to prove to myself and to the company that for the short period of my stay and service there, I gave my all to be an effective and efficient Human Resource Manager to the whole organization.
