Andrea Clarke – General Virtual Assistant

andrea-clarke-vaHello, my name is Andrea. It’s super nice to meet you!

I’m from the lovely Caribbean island of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. I would describe myself as a positive and results-driven individual. I possess an Associate degree in Business Studies, and I’m currently an undergraduate Finance Major at the University of the West Indies Global Campus. I enjoy learning and exploring new things.

I started my Virtual Assistant Journey three years ago when I enrolled in a Digital Entrepreneurship program that taught me the basics and equipped me with the skills and knowledge to leverage my skills and abilities online. It was then I discovered that I’m drawn to the role of a VA because it offers me the unique opportunity to engage in work that aligns with my personal interests and professional goals. Afterward, I became part of VA agency working part-time assisting clients with Executive Assistance, email management, Data Entry, Calendar and appointment management and of course Customer Support.  I have enjoyed every bit of it!  Furthermore, I am proficient in using Microsoft Office, G Suite, and Project Management software such as Trello and Asana, Zoom, Slack, and social media platforms.

andrea-clarke-vaI currently work as a Customer Account Executive for a leading roadside assistance company in the USA. My main duties include helping customers involved in accidents by coordinating tow claims and streamlining the process through accurate information gathering to optimise arrival times and minimise dispatch failures. I’m looking to transition into the world of remote work permanently as I’ve realised that the work culture between being a VA and working in the BPO industry are quite different; and, I must admit that working in the BPO industry hasn’t been easy as the commute has been nerve-racking and work-life balance is nonexistent. I hardly spend time with my family.

While I do understand that this remote setup maybe unsafe and you might be skeptical to work with someone that you barely know. I can guarantee that I will consistently meet my commitments with responsibility and honesty because some of the key things that I’ve learned throughout my past work experiences are that communication, being intellectually curious, goal-oriented, and having the ability to adapt to changes and work hard are what helps to build a permanent and long-standing relationship with your clients. With that being said; I am looking forward to working together and making your life easier!
