Herold Navales – CSR and Quality Analyst

Hi my name is Herold Navales.

I’m from the City of smiles, Bacolod from the province of Negros Occidental Philippines. I’m currently working as a Quality Analyst at a Health Insurance company. I am trained to handle Emails, Reports, meeting with the clients, Team Leads and agents. These helped me to enhance my multi-tasking skills.

I get excited to work when I’m learning new things that could bring out the best of me as a person and as a professional. As a call center agent, I’m excited to go to work knowing that there are people/customers who need my help.

I’ve been with the BPO industry for almost 7 years. It was a great experience to work with different line of businesses, clients and working with different people from different cultural backgrounds. At first it was hard for me, knowing that I haven’t finished my studies due to financial problems.

My father was a driver and my mother was doing part-time jobs to feed us. I have six siblings and I’m the eldest. My father passed away in 2016 due to lung cancer, which made me the bread-winner of the family. I moved to Cebu to look for a greener pasture and luckily I was hired right away. I learned to manage my finances so that I can send money to my family while at the same time pay my monthly dues.

My dream is simple, all I want is a stable job to support my family; that my younger sister and brothers could finish their studies and to provide for their own needs and wants someday. It’s my responsibility to stand as the head of the family and to be an example.

I decided to work home based so that I can go back to my home town and be with my family. My mum is already 58 years old and I would like to spend time with her; to return the time and love that she sacrificed for us. Nothing can compare to the joy that I would feel just to see my mother smile.

I like to go to other places, meet new friends and explore new food. I also like to play computer games during my days off, which is my stress reliever. My adventure here in Cebu was amazing, I’ve been to historical places that I only read in books. Hoping you guys can visit one day!
