Mary Grace Amit – Customer Service Representative
Hi! I’m Mary Grace G. Amit, 28yrs of age. I am a mother to an 11 year old daughter, and I’m a single mum. I’ve been working for 5 years for a US Cable Company named Comcast where I started at in August of 2014 as a Technical Support Representative where my tasks were to troubleshoot cable boxes, and to set appointments to resolve customers issues or at the customer’s request. I up-skilled and transitioned to Billing then Internet and Phone where we discussed customers bills, explained to them why the bill increased, and offered available promo and plans using different tools. This was my first BPO job, and I worked well and handled the pressure. We were also up-skilled to retention as well as set up new accounts for new customers. After that span of time, I am now willing to be trained, to learn more and transition myself as a Virtual Assistant to work at home and spend time to my family.
I learned how to multitask, deep dive into the customer’s emotions, be patient and go that extra mile. I aimed to provide resolution to customer’s issues and put a smile on their face before ending the call. I have a lot of experience when it comes to different types of customers. I’ve also gained a lot of great feedback in providing excellent customer service and satisfaction depending on what the issues were.
I am separated from the biological father of my daughter but I met a man who accepted me despite being a single mum. I’m also proud to say that aside from being a working mum, I am also helping my boyfriend raising pigs and selling to market. This is another reason why I want to work from home, because I know I will be more productive if I stayed at home working and helping in our small business, while taking good care of my love ones. So far I have established a home for my brother and mother and they are very grateful for it.
This is my first time to start as a Virtual Assistant if given the chance. I’m very eager and willing to learn to start my career as a home based worker. I am reliable, flexible and have good English both verbal and written communication skills. I am skilled in planning, analysing and coordinating activities and establishing priorities.
I have excellent attention to detail, an engaging personality and I am customer-centered. I am also hardworking, polite and punctual. I am diligent and follow the policies set by the company and the client. I am
reliable and looking for a long-term engagement.
I also love cooking, especially for my love ones.
