Josiah Rowell Lleva – Administrative Assistant

Hi, I am Josiah Rowell Lleva, and I graduated with a degree in Hospitality Management from Divine Word College of Legazpi City, Albay in 2017. Over the past 7 years, I have developed essential skills such as good communication, organisation, time management, and administrative capabilities, which I believe are essential for a virtual assistant role.

I am proficient in using platforms such as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, which are key tools in virtual assistant work. I could say that I am a great fit for the role for being proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable, which makes me confident in my ability to multitask and handle multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. More importantly, I am highly motivated to learn and grow in any role I take on. I am committed to quickly learning any specific tools or processes you use and remain open to feedback to continually improve.

In addition, I’ve made a conscious effort to deepen my understanding of the virtual assistant profession by attending various webinars. These webinars, including one from your company, The Virtual Assistant Team, have provided me with insights into what it takes to be an effective VA. I also attended webinars with topics covered range from copywriting and social media marketing and other essential strategies that help virtual assistants excel in their roles.

Recently, I made the decision to switch to a career as a virtual assistant because it aligns with my personal and career goals. Having moved to a new city, I wanted a career that would allow me to work from home and spend more time with my loved ones. The flexibility and work-life balance offered by a virtual assistant role perfectly match my current needs, while also allowing me to grow professionally in a field I’m passionate about.

Beyond my core skills as a virtual assistant, my journey into graphic design has added a creative dimension to my work. A few years ago, a close friend of mine started an advertising business, and I began helping them with layouts for their clients. Initially, I offered my assistance to support my friend, but this experience sparked a deep interest in graphic design. Since then, I’ve been practising and learning how to create layouts, gradually improving my understanding of design principles and client needs.

Each project I work on allows me to explore new techniques, and I find myself more engaged in the process of creating visually appealing and effective designs. This newfound passion for graphics has become a hobby of mine, and I take every opportunity to improve my skills, whether it’s through personal projects or assisting my friend with their business. I’m continuously learning about typography, colour schemes, and how to balance aesthetics with functionality.

Overall, I believe my experience, skills, and dedication to both administrative work and design make me a strong candidate for this position. I look forward to the possibility of working together and bringing my unique skill set to your team.
