Airene May Clamor – Appointment Setter, Real Estate VA

Hi there, I am Airene May F. Clamor. I am 30 years old. I am a wife and a first-time mom. My son is already 6 months old. I graduated last 2015 with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Southeast Asian College, Inc.

In the past 9 years after graduation, I’ve been in different industries already. I worked in a BPO company as a third-party debt collector. After a few months, I decided to pursue my degree and applied to a Hotel as a Banquet Sales and Marketing Coordinator. I managed social events like weddings, baptismal, and birthdays.

My next job was as a Front Desk Officer in an Aesthetic Clinic here in the Philippines. I’ve been doing administrative tasks, sales reports, and also answering phone calls for inquiries and appointment setting and handling inventories. Since the pandemic started last 2020, the clinic where I’ve been working was forced to close since aesthetic clinics are not essential to the pandemic.

I then tried to look for a remote job, so I worked as a full-time Virtual Assistant for a Real Estate Company in the US. I am managing all admin tasks for the company like encoding on their CRM. I also manage their website and Facebook page to post for properties for sale. I also have experience cold calling and setting appointments for those interested in selling their property.

During my training here, we learnt about creating a simple website, and basic editing in Canva and Social Media Management. When things were going back to normal, I decided to go back to the aesthetic clinic where I worked before the pandemic.

Last June 2023, I found out that I was expecting a child so after a few months I already got married. A lot happened in one year but I am also very excited about this new journey I am about to embark on! Come March 2024 I gave birth to my first child – my son. He means the world to me. He is my life. During my maternity leave, I decided not to return to my job as a front desk officer in an aesthetic clinic and instead chose to work from home.

Since May 2024, I’ve been working as an Appointment/DM Setter. We are third-party appointment setters to various Medical Spa in the US. I do cold texting to potential leads and convert them into appointments. I also do some admin tasks, and send out weekly and monthly reports.

After 4 months of working in this company, they decided to cut costs and lay off all of their Filipino employees. That is why I am now actively looking for another job that can support my family financially and also advance my career.

Being able to work at home is a big blessing for me. It allows me to balance work and family responsibilities more effectively. Being able to be with my son 24/7 is a huge blessing. I’m seeking new opportunities because I’m eager to grow professionally and take on more challenging projects. While I’ve gained valuable experience in my current role, I believe this position will allow me to use my skills more effectively and contribute to a company with a vision that aligns closely with my own values. I’m excited about the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and to continue learning in a new environment.
