Rikka Lainez – Sales Representative, Transaction Processing Associate
Hi there! My name is Rikka Gatdula Lainez and I am 27 years old. I was born on December 9, 1996 to two Filipino parents. I have two siblings, an older brother who is 28 years old, and a younger brother who is 13 years old. I am the middle child in our family.
In my free time, I enjoy playing sports such as volleyball, badminton, and swimming. However, my ultimate favourite activity is binge-watching movies and series on television. I am currently happily married with two children – a one-year-old daughter and a five-year-old son. My husband has been working as a Sales Representative for more than five years now.
As for my career, I have had various jobs before becoming a full-time mother. I started as a Bank Teller at EastWest Universal Bank for almost a year, then worked as an accounting staff at Emperador Distillers for more than two years. After that, I briefly worked at the Bureau of Internal Revenue as a Finance Support before becoming a Farm Manager at a poultry farm for another five months. My last job before becoming a full-time mother was as a Transaction Processing Associate at Accenture for three months – my dream job because it allowed me to work comfortably from home. However, due to my sensitive pregnancy, I had to give up that job unexpectedly. Nonetheless, I have no regrets because I am grateful for where I am right now. That’s why I am determined to find a job that allows me to work from home with good compensation so that I can work hard for my family’s future, especially for my children’s future.
I have always been a foodie and I love indulging in heavy meals and street foods. The flavours and spices of spicy foods always leave me wanting more. But what makes these meals even more special for me is when I am sharing them with my family and cousins. We often gather around and enjoy some alcoholic drinks while catching up and making new memories. One of my favourite things to do is to go to the beach and grill some chicken and seafood with my loved ones. However, amidst all these joys, my greatest fear is losing someone in my family, especially my parents. They have always been my biggest supporters and I want to give them a comfortable life while they are still strong and young enough to travel and enjoy life. Every day, I pray that my dreams for my family will come true, as they mean everything to me and I am willing to do anything for their happiness.
