Pauline Ann Furing – Executive Virtual Assistant, HR Virtual Recruiter Assistant

Hello, my name is Pauline Ann Furing, 25 years old. Residing in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, PH. I graduated senior high school K-12 at Our Lady of Fatima University strand ABM (Accountancy and Business Management) batch 218-2019, and I’m also a wife and mother of my one and only daughter. Two months after I gave birth, I started to find a work-from-home job that fit me while I was taking care of my daughter and helping my husband with our financial needs.

I started working at home way back in 2020 as a marketing researcher. It’s a graveyard shift with 12 hours of duty. I was conducting a survey about the election from a US client. Since it was seasonal work, I know that it is difficult and tiring for a breastfeeding mom to do multiple jobs. But I am always grateful for that opportunity. That work saved us from what we needed at that time of the pandemic. When I first transitioned to working from home, I was excited by the flexibility it promised. No more long commutes or office policies. I could spend more time with my daughter while still contributing to the family’s finances. But what I hadn’t anticipated was the challenge of balancing my work responsibilities with the demands of motherhood. My days were a delicate dance, juggling deadlines and Zoom meetings with snack breaks, playtime, and the occasional tantrum.

Despite the challenges, I loved the freedom that working from home provided. I was there for every milestone, every scraped knee, and every bedtime story. My workdays were unpredictable and messy, but they were also filled with the kind of small, beautiful moments I wouldn’t trade for anything. At the end of the day, as I close my laptop and curl up on the couch for a movie, I feel a deep sense of gratitude. Being a WFH mom wasn’t easy, but it was exactly where I wanted to be.

Me and my husband have one daughter, and she’s a nursery student. I could really say time flies so fast when I’m staring at her, so I cherish every single moment because I know she is not always a baby but my forever “Mommy’s Baby”. My hobby is collecting merch from the artist name Rihanna. I could also call myself a die-hard fan of hers. I was obsessed, literally, period. So you can call me Riri.

My hope is to reach all my goals and dreams, not just for my family but also for my parents and siblings. I would not stop until those hopes turn into reality.
