Cynthia Grace Azeem – General Virtual Assistant
Hi, I am Cynthia Grace Azeem. You can call me Cynthia or Fatima, which is my Islamic name. I am a converted Muslim, originally from the Philippines, and now living in Pakistan after marrying a Pakistani. I am a proud wife and mother of three wonderful children—two beautiful girls, my angels, and one sweet boy, my knight in shining armor. Family means everything to me, and they are my constant motivation and source of strength.
I hold a degree in Travel and Tourism Hospitality Management from the College of Siena in Quezon City, Philippines. My education provided me with a solid foundation in customer service, communication, and organisational skills. I have always considered myself a hardworking and dedicated person, with a natural ability to connect with people. I enjoy interacting with others and have a passion for helping those around me, whether it’s in a professional setting, within my community, or at home.
Before I got married in 2008, I had big dreams of building a successful career in the travel and hospitality industry. However, life presented unexpected challenges. My eldest daughter was diagnosed with Hydrocephalus at birth and needed a VP shunt to survive. This life-altering event required me to put my career on hold to prioritise my daughter’s health and well-being. As my family grew, I embraced my role as a mother and caretaker, but now, I am eager to return to the workforce and pursue the career I once dreamed of.
As I look to restart my professional journey, my aim is to create a positive work environment and contribute to a healthy work culture for the team I am a part of. I believe that the company I am applying to is the perfect place for me to achieve this, as it offers both growth opportunities and a long-term career path. At this stage of my life, finding a company that values its employees and provides room for personal and professional development is exactly what I am looking for.
In addition to my strong work ethic, I bring a range of skills to the table. I am diligent, goal-oriented, detail-oriented, resourceful, and adaptable. These qualities, combined with my extensive life experiences, make me confident that I can excel in any role I take on.
Moreover, I find that working from home offers the flexibility I need to balance my professional aspirations with my responsibilities as a mother. I believe that with the right work-from-home setup, I can effectively provide for my family while still being present in their lives—something that is incredibly important to me.
