Ayessa Mae Balondo – General Virtual Assistant

ayessa-balondo-vaHello, I am Ayessa Mae Tolentino – Balondo or you can call me Sang for short. I graduated
from the University of Mindanao with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management in 2011. I am currently residing in Santo Cristo, San Antonio Nueva Ecija.

I have a bountiful experience I honed for the past 12 years. I started off as a customer service representative in 2012 for a financial account wherein we provide support through inbound calls. I was then promoted to a level 2 support where I handle escalated situations, do administrative tasks such as daily reports and data entry. Through hard work and perseverance, I worked my way up to becoming a team leader in 2014.

These experiences taught me how to collaborate proactively with colleagues and also manage a group of talented people in providing good quality service through email, chat, and phone support. I also developed skills in dealing with different types of people and handling difficult situations calmly and with grace. I am used to working with direct clients, giving them updates, reports and sharing ideas that will help the company grow and excel in customer service. I am detail-oriented, can multitask, and easily adapt to daily updates and changes.

I am well-versed in Microsoft Applications, Google Apps, Zoom and  CRM tools like Slack, Mission Control, and Zendesk. During the pandemic, I was able to have a short experience of working at home. Through this, I was able to improve my management skills by making sure that my team is productive and delivers what the client needs. I also have an excellent skill in time management and coaching my team to develop their talents in becoming future leaders.

ayessa-balondo-vaI am now more knowledgeable in the work-from-home setup. I have proven a track record in delivering exceptional customer support, team management, and fostering positive relationships with clients and colleagues. I am confident that I will be an effective and efficient Virtual Assistant. My top priority is always client satisfaction and experience.

Outside of my profession, I am a happy wife. I spend most of my free time going on road trips with my husband. I was a choir member for our community church back home in Davao City. I play the guitar and enjoy long walks with nature. Another hobby of mine is baking as it gives me peace and clarity of mind. I am also knowledgeable in video and audio editing as I love documenting my travels.

I am thankful to have the chance to work remotely for a short period of time because it gave me an opportunity to spend more time with my family and provide their needs. I see myself growing in this industry as I gain more knowledge and skills as a virtual assistant.
