Catherine Reamucio – General Virtual Assistant

catherine-remucio-vaHi, I’m Catherine Reamucio, you can call me Cath. I am a single mother of 2 kids, boy and girl. I graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Commerce major in Management at Saint Louis College. My hobbies are baking and cooking for my kids because they loved it when I started making them their favorite cookies and cupcakes. As a single mother, it is not easy to raise 2 children alone but despite that, I dare to face all the challenges that I encounter as a single mom, that’s why life teaches me how to be strong and work hard for my children.

I started working as a call center agent(outbound) for Home Improvement account and I am responsible for calling qualified clients and asking them if they need new windows or doors for their home. After 2 months of working on that account, I transferred to another company because I resigned from the previous one due to mishandling of employees. My 3rd work is also as a call center agent for the same Account HOME IMPROVEMENT, and my supervisor decided to transfer me to another account that is IMUSA-POWER WHEELCHAIR based in the United States. I am responsible for canvassing or calling potential customers for a client and arranging qualified customers in line with pre-defined criteria and book them straight into our client’s system or arrange for a callback. I also ensure that the customer’s contact and background details have been provided.

catherine-remucio-vaThe other work that I have is as a Real Estate Virtual Assistant. I am doing cold calls and ask clients who are willing to sell their properties and also evaluate their properties from Zillow so that we can offer them cash based on the evaluation. The recent work that I have was as a Virtual Assistant/Recruitment Specialist I am responsible for interviewing candidates or applicants using Google Meet. My duties include understanding/reviewing the job description and requirements for the freight broker position. I  evaluate resumes and cover letters to shortlist candidates who meet the basic qualifications. I send emails to those who have been already hired or passed the interview. I am also using Breezy for following up or sending emails to those applicants that still interested in applying.

Working in a different company and dealing with different clients was a learning experience for me. I learned to be diligent at work and to be goal-oriented passionate, and dedicated to my work.

Being a single mother working from home is very convenient for me because I can be with my kids and look after them. and at the same time, I can provide for my children, and that’s the most important thing I ever did.

I need to strive harder for my career to grow and learn more skills to improve myself.
